Democratic Republic of Congo’s clueless leader Felix Tshisekedi has continued to shift the blame on the international community for his failure to defend the Congolese people and territories.
On Wednesday, the city of Goma in North Kivu Province of eastern DR Congo paid a final tribute to the 35 victims of the deadly bombing attack of the Mugunga camp for displaced people with the population, military authorities, the police and members of the central government present at the sombre occasion.
Tshisekedi through his representative at the funeral and Human Rights Minister Albert-Fabrice Puela, suggested that the international community had been complicit to the Congolese situation, commenting that the Mugunga victims’ blood was “the same as the blood of Ukrainians who are being attacked in the same way as the Congolese in the east.”
Tshisekedi who recently chased the UN mission (MONUSCO) out of the war zone in the east, turns to accuse the international community of limiting itself to condemning without sanctioning the instigators.
Meanwhile, a memorial called “Genocost” has been erected in Kibati of Nyiragongo territory in memory of the Mugunga victims who were killed in the bombing attacks allegedly carried out by the M23 rebels and the Rwandan army.
