The Rwandan government have urged DR Congo President Félix Tshisekedi and his government to directly engage the rampant M23 Rebel Group who are the real perpetrators of war in the eastern part of the country.
According to Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe, the government denounces the DR Congo’s government scapegoat strategy to blame Kigali for the causing instabilities in North Kivu Province.
Nduhungirehe further encouraged the Tshisekedi and his administration to address the main root causes of the crisis which include hate speech, historical marginalization, discrimination and persecution of Congolese Tutsis.
