Congolese women’s Ligue 1 champions TP Mazembe Feminine have learnt their opponents whom they will face in the upcoming UNIFFAC Tournament that will be used as a qualification path for the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.
The tournament to be held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea under the auspices of the Central African football mother body, UNIFFAC, is expected to run from 8th through to 14th September, 2023.
The tournament is expected to draw four clubs from four different Central African nations with the winner of the tournament set to earn their spot at CAF Women’s Champions League competition to be hosted in the Ivory Coast later this year.
Mazembe, who are the current holders of the UNIFFAC Tournament, will face hosts Huracane FC of Equatorial Guinea in their first match at the tournament on 8th September.
The Congolese champions will then face AS Epah Ngamba of the Congo Brazzaville on 11th September and close their campaign at the tournament with an encounter AS Awa of Cameroon on September 14th.
