TSHISEKEDI PARTYING WHILE DRC IS AT WAR: Leaders Spend Night Dancing To JP Mpiana Music While People In East Congo Are Dying

President Felix Tshisekedi and Prime Minister Sama Lukonde spent last night at the opulent presidential palace dining and wining to some robust Congolese music in Kinshasa while the population in east Congo is battling with surviving bullets.

In essence, the DRC is at war and has had to summon soldiers from neighboring countries to reinforce its ill equipped army.

There is virtually no peace in most parts of the country. High levels of insecurity have been recorded in Grand Katanga. The price of basic commodities are skyrocketing and the president is paying no attention.

“What a way to taunt the people of eastern DRC! The country is at war but in Kinshasa Félix Tshisekedi and @LukondeSama officially had good weather at a party where JB Mpiana had been playing all night. With such leaders no one will take us seriously,” one Congolese social media commentator said.
