Three Chinese nationals have been condemned to death by a military court in Kolwezi, Lualaba.
The three were charged with murder but the fourth accused person,a Congolese, has been acquitted due to insufficient evidence.
Captain Jean-Marie Ngaba, first president of the said judicial body, sentenced Wang Tsu, Wang wi and Zidane to death for murder on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
The military tribunal also fined the three accused $20,000 payable in Congolese francs as damages.
The court freed Abdallah who was accused with the three.
The trio were prosecuted for charges related to extortion, illegal possession of ammunition of war and terrorism.
On December 30, 2022, the trio killed a Chinese economic operator Zing before stealing $54,900 dollars from the deceased.
