FATSHI’S BOGUS CALL FOR DIALOGUE REJECTED: Opposition Ready to Dialogue With Tshisekedi Only to Discuss His Incompetence

Democratic Republic of Congo’s presidential aspirant Seth Kikuni says the opposition would only be open to dialogue with imposter pressident Felix Tshisekedi to discuss his failures and incompetencies.

Kikuni’s comments comes after Tshisekedi’s government moved to engage in dialogue with the opposition in a bogus bid to restore national unity while in fact they aim to weaken the competition ahead of the 2028 elections.

Kikuni who backed main opposition leader Moise Katumbi in the 20th December polls, says the opposition remain determined to “stop” Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and his atrocitious government.

“The Catholic Church has always been one of the greatest partners of the opposition and civil society. We asked for their blessing and their support because we are really determined to stop Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo,” he declared.

Kikuni further suggested that if there will be dialogue, it will be to remind Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi of the atrocities committed under his government such as the rigged and shambolic 2023 General Elections.

“I don’t yet know why we need to dialogue with anyone. We are coming out of very chaotic elections. Elections where Félix Tshisekedi decided to give himself more than 75% of the vote, he distributed voting machines and “He himself is given more than 475 deputies and 26 governors. If there will be dialogue, it will be to remind Félix Tshisekedi in the face that he is incompetent,” he said.

Kikuni said this at the establishment of the consultation framework for the opposition and civil society on the situation in the country and how to resolve all the problems facing the Democratic Republic of Congo which was held on Tuesday August 27, 2024 with the president of the Episcopal Conference National Council of Congo (CENCO) Archbishop Fulgence Muteba Mugalu.
