Democratic Republic of Congo’s record CAF Champions League titles holders, TP Mazembe, arrived in Zambia yesterday for a date against Red Arrows in the two-legged pre-group stage face-off.
Mazembe, five time Champions League winner, will be looking to add this year’s title to their trophy cabinet.
And that journey starts with Saturday’s assignment at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Coach Lamine N’diaye will unveil some new faces that are expected to carry the Ravens a long way in the competition.
Club president Moise Katumbi, also a popular opposition leader in the country, has traveled with the delegation and will be in the stands to watch the team.
Red Arrows, who are sponsored by the Zambia Air Force, will travel to Lubumbashi for the return fixture next week.
