LAND OF LIBERATION: Nangaa Welcomes Joseph Kabila, Opens Goma Gates to Exiled Congolese Political Figures

Alliance Fleuve du Congo (AFC) & M23 rebel-coalition leader Corneille Nangaa has welcomed former Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) president Joseph Kabila to the liberated eastern region of the country.

After over a year in self-imposed political exile, Kabila has returned to the DR Congo via Goma, which is controlled by the AFC-M23 rebel movement.

In welcoming the honorary former president to the territory, Nangaa also stretched out his hand and welcomed other exiled Congolese political figures to return home through the eastern region where they will not faced any attacks from Félix Tshisekedi and his ruthless regime.

“The martyr gates of Goma, which are those of Congo, are wide open to welcome, besides former President Kabila, all compatriots desirous of finding a homeland where they can freely exercise their political activities in a republican spirit, far from enjoyers, insulters, liars, thieves, incompetent tribalistic hijackers and sbires of the political police of the agitating regime of Kinshasa,” Nangaa wrote on X.

Several key Congolese political figures have fled the country after being targeted by Tshisekedi and his government which is determined to eliminate all of its political opponents.
