An official in the opposition has taken it upon himself to sensitize people in the Democratic Republic of Congo to ensure they turned up in good numbers to register as voters so that they can participate in the election of their leaders on December 20, 2023.
The voter registration exercise has moved at a very slow pace with only 15 million out of a possible 50 million eligible voters registering so far.
