SERIAL BLOOD SUCKERS: Tshisekedi’s Government Murdered Okende And Want Stanis Bujakera To Pay For It

Member of the Congolese National Assembly André Claudel Lubaya has bemoaned the current repugnant state of the Congolese law system and utter injustices that have been perpetrated by President Fèlix Tshisekedi’s government.

Lubaya, who is also leader of the opposition Union Democratic African (UDA) party, says Tshisekedi’s government has demonstrated its lack of respect for the rule of law by not only tolerating by also partaking in several atrocities against innocent people.

“It is about the courage and temerity of men and women who do not flinch in the face of infamy and injustice, for the salvation of the people” Lubaya said in an interview.

Lubaya commented on the case involving the murder of former Transport and opposition Ensemble Pour la Republique President Moïse Katumbi’s spokesperson Cherubin Okende who was kidnapped and killed earlier this year.

The opposition National Assembly Member regretted why Tshisekedi’s government had wickedly opted to imprison journalist Stanis Bujakera who has been without proof been detained on accusations of spreading and disseminating false information relating to the case involving the assassination of Okende.

“Strangely accused of spreading false rumors in a case where the State and its security apparatus are struggling to exonerate themselves, Stanis Bujakera is now one of these expiatory victims of manipulation, through his rigor in the processing of information and through his professionalism proven” Lubaya said.

“For an innocent person like Stanis Bujakera, his place is not in prison and many know it, even if the denial of reality has become the second skin of the Republic.”

Lubaya also brought to light the record number of crimes and Illegalities that have been committed and not probed in the Tshisekedi regime.

“Who is unaware that during this five-year term which is ending, all records for the most abject crimes, both economic, financial and bloody, have been broken and curiously, to this day, no one is in prison. There were suspicious deaths. From the Goma massacres, some are at large” he added.

Lubaya joined an ever-growing list of individuals as well as organizations from both the local and international who have demanded for the unconditional release of Bujakera who has been in police custody since 9 September 2023.
