The Common Front for Congo (FCC), a political party of former president Joseph Kabila has vehemently condemned the mass killings of Katangese particularly in Kilwa (Haut Katanga) and Kolwezi (Lualaba) as well as those happening in other parts of the country.
Kabila’s party has accused imposter president Felix Tshisekedi of planning and perpetrating the masscre of Congolese to hold on to power.
They say elements of a branch of the Defense and Security Forces which reports directly to the Presidency of the Republic are behind the genocide in Katanga.
“Several comrades in the resistance, freedom fighters and other compatriots from the opposition as well as from the Civil Society, committed against the dictatorship or simply expressing disenchantment and frustration in the face of campaign promises never kept are kidnapped and illegally detained for weeks, even months by supposedly security services.
“The ANR and the DEMIAP are services propagating insecurity. Other comrades are, for their part, missing, forced into exile or live in clandestine, in inhumane conditions and far from their families,” Kabila’s party states.
The former president is incensed that some of his followers have been captured and taken to unknown locations.
