GALLANT SOLDIERS: Katumbi Salutes TP Mazembe After Elimination From New African Club Championship

TP Mazembe chairman Moise Katumbi has congratulated the Lubumbashi giants for being one of the eight elite teams to participate in the inaugural African Football League.

TP Mazembe lost 3-0 to Esperance last night and bow out of the competition 3-1 on aggregate.

Katumbi writes on X, “In Tunis, @TPMazembe played with a heart.

“Congratulations to the players
Despite the lack of competition, the team is progressing at all levels, that’s obvious.

“The secret to success remains hard work. Good luck to the #AfricanFootballLeague and to all the teams who remained in the
race.”
