The Wazalendo Miliatia group which is funded by DR Congo’s impostor president Félix Tshisekedi have gunned down an innocent civilian couple in Bulengo on the western outskirts of the city of Goma in North Kivu Province.
According to local sources, the Wazalendo militiamen invaded the displaced people’s camp where they murdered a man and his wife leaving behind a one-year-old baby.
“A couple displaced by war living in the Bulengo camp were shot dead in block 361, zone 22. Despite our numerous appeals to the authorities, weapons continue to circulate freely in the sites, exposing the displaced to constant risks. It is unacceptable that these men, already scarred by war, live in such insecurity,” lamented Jules Ngeleza, the president of the youth of the commune of Goma.
These armed Wazalendo militiamen have invaded the displaced people’s camps to take refuge after losing the battle against the M23 rebels and now resort to killing innocent people.
