The AFC/M23 movement to liberate the Democratic Republic of Congo has reinforced its army with an additional 10, 000 recruits.
At the unveiling, the recruits sang solidarity songs urging its leaders led by Corneille Nangaa to forge ahead.
“Baba wende mbele, tuko nyuma yako ( father, go forward as we are behind you offering the necessary support),” they sang as Nangaa smiled.
The new recruits are expected to join the movement’s push towards Kinshaha.
