DR Congo’s scandalous leader Félix Tshisekedi’s selfishness and insatiable appetite for wealth from illegal mining activities in Katanga region does not only deprive the local population of the benefits from their God-given resources but now poses as a huge environmental threat.
Tshisekedi’s Lebanese mining partners headed by questionable Kinshasa-based businessman Abed Achour have dumped a significant quantity of a toxic mineral substance at Louis Pepo Stadium in Kakanda town of Lualaba Province.
Local sources reveal that several loaded trucks from the Lebanese mine Nsele neighborhood and dumped the toxic mineral substance.
Despite complaints to authorities from the population the Lebanese miners returned to the same location and dumped more of the toxic substance.
