DR Congo’s ruling party Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) under President Félix Tshisekedi is officially a rebel group as it now operates with acts of thuggery and lawlessness.
Just a few days after launching a barbaric attempt to assasinate former President Joseph Kabila’s wife Mama Olive Lembe at the Kabila family residence in Kinshasa, Tshisekedi’s thugs have issued illegal threats against the police command.
The UDPS thugs were angered by the police’s swift action to arrest some of the criminals who were clad in Tshisekedi regalia when they stormed the Kabila family residence in GLM commune last week.
In a video that has gone viral on social networks, Joël Kitenge, a well-known member of the UDPS, has openly threatened hostilities against Blaise Kilimbalimba, deputy divisional police commissioner of the city of Kinshasa.
Kitenge has also sworn to ensure Kilimbalimba is sacked for dismantling and arresting of his thugs from the “Force du progrès” group which is be a network of UDPS bandits terrorizing citizens in the DR Congo capital.
