Arrest in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania seven months ago, Eric Nkuba has been tortured daily at the National Intelligence Agency (ANR) by authorities who have been trying to squeeze out of him information relating to the Alliance Fleuve du Congo (AFC) and its leader Corneille Nangaa.
On Friday, Nkuba was brought before the Gombe Garrison Military Court in Kinshasa following the opening of a trial against Nangaa and all the AFC compatriots.
Despite having been tortured daily by Tshisekedi’s ANR thugs Nkuba remains lucid and boldly stood to send a warning to Fatshi.
Nkuba sent a stern warning to Tshisekedi indicating that Nangaa and AFC’s main target is Kinshasa, the capital, as well as the entire nation rather than just North Kivu Province from where they continue to advance.
“The objective of the AFC is not to stay in North Kivu, but to conquer the entire country and reach Kinshasa. The goal is not to balkanize the country, but to conquer power in Kinshasa. The AFC has no interest in conquering Goma or Butembo, but Kinshasa” Nkuba warned.
He further shocked the court procession when looked into the judges, Tshisekedi’s puppets, and told the court that there was no Rwandan present in the eastern region rather Congolese compatriots whom the government of Tshisekedi identify as foreigners.
“I was in Rutshuru, I didn’t see any Rwandans. But in the FARDC, there are Rwandans. Next to the FARDC, the FDLR are visible” he said.
Nkuba is being tried alongside five others facing charges including treason, terrorism and war crimes among other offences punishable by the death sentence.
