The Belgian Order of Physicians have summoned Dr. Christian Raftopoulos, President Félix Tshisekedi’s doctor, for traveling out to conduct a post-surgery review on the recuperating DR Congo leader.
A credible source has revealed that Raftopoulos has been summoned following a complaint issued against him for unethical conduct and will be interviewed by the Belgian Order of Physicians.
He is likely set to face suspension and would have to repay travel and logistical expenses from his last stay in DR Congo which were funded by the Belgian medical board.
According to a correspondence signed by the president of the Order of Physicians of Brussels-Walloon Brabant, Professor Dr Raftopoulos is also obliged to provide all the details including the medical data of his patient, Félix Tshisekedi, in order to justify the reason or the quintessence of his last stay in Kinshasa.
Tshisekedi had earlier this year in August secretly traveled out to Brussels where he underwent surgery for a prostate problem.
