A video of three Congolese Army soldiers assaulting a defenseless and poor old woman in Kinshasa has gone viral on social networks in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The incident happened at Kinshasa’s N’djili International Airport on Saturday night when after the woman decided to park her vehicle outside the airport’s parking area to avoid the harassments from the soldiers usually encountered by drivers at N’djili.
According eye-witnesses, the woman was approached by one of the soldiers who demanded payment of 5000 FC parking fee which the poor lady having refused to comply.
The soldiers beat the poor old lady mercilessly under the helpless eyes of the onlookers present fearing reprisals, especially since this famous soldier and his colleagues were all armed.
No official statement has so far been released by the Congolese Army and or government over this unfortunate incident.
