National Agency for Meteorology and Remote Sensing by Satellite (MettelSat) has forecasted the capital Kinshasa to receive heavy rainfall in the months of November and December.
Kinshasa has already been hit with heavy rains which has caused severe flooding resulting in loss of life and property.
MettelSat have since warned the population of more of the “above normal” rainfall that the city will receive in the next two months.
The new development will be a major source of concern for authority and residents of Kinshasa which could face more severe flooding due to the poor drainage system in the city.
