DR Congo’s president Félix Tshisekedi has continued to lose public confidence with his own party, UDPS executives also joining in expressing their disappointment over the Illegalities committed under the current administration.
In a statement signed by senior executive and Senator Gérard Mulumba Kongolo, the UDPS executives declared that the nation is tired of the continued mismanagement resulting from excessive embezzlement of public funds by government officials under Tshisekedi.
“What I am currently observing in the various organs of the State, executive and others, is nothing but disappointment. Disappointment of the President of the Republic, Head of State, who has completely trusted those to whom he has entrusted responsibilities, disappointment of the PEOPLE who support and love their leader” the letter reads.
The UDPS executives have since called for drastic actions to be carried out in order to denounce incompetence and imprudent management of public funds which betray not only the people’s trust in their decision-makers.
“What misappropriation of public funds to which must be added all the atrocities suffered by the populations of the eastern provinces.
“My conscience calls upon me, and that of the other leaders is also, so that together we rise up democratically (sit-ins, marches and others), to put out of harm’s way all the predators specialized in small selfish games, for the illicit enrichment of their families. The Head of State and the people have been betrayed enough. Stop this nasty game!”, he concluded.
