DOWN TO EARTH: Pressure Mounts on Moïse Kambulu to Resign After Pointing Tshisekedi’s Failures

Pressure is mounting on Kasaï Central Province Governor Moïse Kambulu to step down from his role after he criticized the government for abandoning the region.

Kambulu openly castigated President Félix Tshisekedi and his regime for not initiating a single developmental project in the province since assuming office.

The Governor bravely made these comments while Tshisekedi had been in province to campaign for his proposed move to revise or change the Constitution.

The ruling UDPS party structures have since made several calls for Kambulu to resign for expressing his valid and serious concerns.

Senior party officials including General Secretary Augustin Kabuya are calling for his resignation and instant dismissal from the party.
