TP Mazembe president Moise Katumbi last evening joined Congolese legendary goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba at the house of mourning of his mother Rosalie Kakalu Kabwiza.
Kidiaba’s 85-year-old died on September 5, 2024 after an illness.
Katumbi was joined at the house of mourning by Senator Salomon Kalonda who is also his senior special advisor.
The Ensemble Pour la République leader consoled the family urging them to look to God for comfort in the time of despair.
Kidiaba, a goalkeeper trainer at TP Mazembe, is a towering figure in Congolese football.
He is famed for the bum-bouncing celebration.
