Rwandan President Paul Kagame had arrived in the Angolan capital Luanda ahead of Sunday’s meeting with neighbouring DR Congo President Félix Tshisekedi.
Kagame and Tshisekedi are set meet and negotiate for peace between their respective nations in the midst of ongoing security tensions.
The Rwandan delegation has since left Kigali enrounte to Luanda ahead of the meeting which is hoped to be significant in the attempt to restore peace in North Kivu Province of DR Congo.
The plane carrying the Rwandan delegation arrived in Luanda, Angola on Saturday evening.
Rwanda has repeatedly expressed its commitment to ensuring peace in the region.
