WOMEN’S WORLD CUP FINAL: Katumbi & Congolese Women’s League Present As Spain Defeat England

The was great representation from the Democratic Republic of Congo at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup final with the nation’s important football bodies present in Australia.

TP Mazembe chairman Moïse Katumbi led the Congolese attendees at the Stadium Australia where FECOFA women’s league (LINAFF feminine) chairperson Olive Kihola was also present.

Katumbi who is vice-president of the World Football Clubs Association, as well as Kihola attended the final at the invitation of the world football governing body, FIFA.

In a statement released on Saturday, Mazembe revealed that Katumbi was set to have several exchanges with prominent partners in the field of women’s football.

In an action-packed encounter, Spain ran out 1-0 victors over England thanks to captain Olga Carmona’s first-half goal to help La Roja to their maiden World Cup crown.
