Time is ticking for Democratic Republic of Congo’s impostor president Félix Tshisekedi in power with the M23 rebel movement threatening to seize control of the nation.
The M23 have in the past weeks taken major control of the DR Congo’s mineral-rich territory of North Kivu in the east with Tshisekedi forced to visit Uganda to solicit for support from that country in fighting the rebels.
However, Uganda have turned their back on Tshisekedi who is now forced to fight the M23 with his incapable forces who have struggled to contain the rebels.
Uganda Army spokesperson Brigadier General Felix Kulayige announced on Sunday that his country does not intend to partner with the DR Congo in the fight against the M23 and the Alliance Fleuve du Congo (AFC).
Speaking in an interview, Br. Gen. Kulayige stressed that the war between the DR Congo and M23 does not concern or pose any threat to Uganda as it is a national issue.
