VOTE BUYING: Tshisekedi’s Deputy Minister For Planning Caught On Camera Buying Votes

A video featuring Ministry of Planning Deputy Minister Pascal Omana Bitika dashing out money to people in exchange for their votes has gone viral.

Outgoing President Fèlix Tshisekedi and his Sacred Union party went on a spree dashing out money to the electorate during the campaigns in their bid to seek re-election after a failed five year term of office.

In the video, Omana Bitika, seeking re-election as National Deputy, is seen with stacks of Congolese Franc notes which he dashed out to the crowd in Kindu town of Maniema Province.

However, Omana Bitika has seemingly failed to buy the conscience of the people of Kindu who have opted against voting for this disastrous leader.

After five years as representative of Kindu, Omana Bitika has failed to initiate even one project in the community that remains incapacitated in a plethora of challenges including lack of roads, water, electricity and food.
