Opposition Ensemble pour la République president Moise Katumbi last weekend took some time off his busy political schedule to check on the rice harvest in his village of Kashobwe.

During his visit, Katumbi demonstrated that the DRC has capacity to produce and feed its 100 million inhabitants.

The former Katanga governor says instead of being expert in establishing a laboratory of lies, the DRC needs a viable production of food that will bring life to its tattered image.

Katumbi says having done it in his village, he would scale up production countrywide should the people of Congo give him the mantle to become Head of State when elections are held on December 20, 2023.
