The leader of the Catholic Church has arrived to thunderous welcome. Hundreds of people lined up the street to celebrate the arrival of the Holy Man.

He will be in the DRC for three days.

Pope Francis will hold mass, meet church leaders, address youths and pray for peace in a country that will hold elections in December 2023 but is severely troubled by civil war especially in the east.
