Former interior minister under Joseph Kabila’s regime, Emmanuel Shadary, has accused President Felix Tshisekedi of taking tribalism to alarming levels.
Shadary, who was the ruling party losing candidate in the 2018 election, says he has never witnessed the tribalism obtaining under Tshisekedi.
He listed the President of the Constitution Court, the President of Ceni, Ministers of Finance, Interior and several others as among the litany of high ranking government officials coming from the kasai region.
Shadary was addressing a political meeting at which he denounced tribalism and reckless regionalism introduced by President Tshisekedi and his administration.
