[VIDEO] DRC INSECURITY ON THE RISE: Truckers Complain Of Near Death Experience On Likasi Bypass Road

Your kind publication of my concern on the security matter on the new Likasi bypass road will be highly appreciated.

Today, the 27th December 2023 marks exactly three days (3 days) ever since the newly graded road was introduced for trucks heading to various mines in Lubumbashi and Kolwezi to bypass the Likasi town.

Unfortunately, the road is posing so many risks to truck drivers by the unknown people. So far, about eight truck drivers have been robed in the same road. The unknown individual are equipped with matches and other dangerous equipments to attack and robe truck drivers. They are also coming in numbers and broke the roads.

We are so much worried because drivers lives are in danger.

Your kind publication of this information will be highly appreciated. Videos of the attacks are circulating on various WhatsApp group and they may be shared if needed.
