Top Congolese opposition leaders Moise Katumbi, Martin Fayulu, Augustin Matata Mponyo and Delly Sesanga have been meeting in Lubumbashi, the country’s second largest city, to design their strategy ahead of the December 20, 2023 election.,
They have agreed in principle to work together and defeat President Felix Tshisekedi in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
According to information obtained so far, Kinshasa is displeased with the arrangement and is working hard to break the pact.
No official statement has been issued by the four but the population is excited at the prospects of the alliance.
They also plan a protest in the capital Kinshasa on May 13 to denounce growing insecurity, high cost of living, the suffering of the Congolese majority and the chaotic electoral process.
