After a five years of nothing but jetting out to partying and sight-see while neglecting his responsibility to the nation, DR Congo President Fèlix Tshisekedi is now being caught up in his nemesis.
On his arrival in Kinshasa, Tshisekedi had a torrid time negotiating through the hectic traffic in the city which he had promised to decongest with construction of new roads.
Embarrassingly, Tshisekedi’s motorcade spent almost an hour stuck in traffic as the presidential guards and traffic enforcers struggled to create passage for the president on the June 30th Boulevard
The President finally had a taste of the hardships that the Kinshasa population face daily owing to the failures of his government in the last five years.
The incident is the latest of embarrassing scenes Tshisekedi has been plunged into during his campaign trail to bid for re-election in the 20th December polls.
