TRIBAL ARSON CONTINUES: Katangese Army Strongman Poisoned by the Kasais

Tribal division instigated by the Kasai against the Katangese has filtered into key security wings of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Congo Army (FARDC) Lieutenant-Colonel Alain Nawej Yav has been poisoned to death by Kasais while in hospital.

Lt. Col. Yav had been hospitalized since the start of the after being attacked in a confrontation with government sponsored rebels.

The FARDC special force was yesterday confirmed dead at the DEMIAP headquarters hospital where he was being treated.

Lt. Col. Yav is popular for having unsettled several rebels in the Katanga region.

The Kasai have continued on their mission to exterminate the Katangese in their regions.
