Lubumbashi giants TP Mazembe have prioritized the signing of Zambian striker Kennedy Musonda in the upcoming January transfer window.
Sources have revealed that Mazembe are confident of signing the 28-year old marksman due to their healthy relationship with his Tanzanian club Yanga Sports Club.
Mazembe are looking to make reinforcements to their squad following a mass exodus of their star players at the end of last season.
Musonda who was top scorer for Zambia in the AFCON qualifiers with 4 goals, is the most preferred striker to replace Malian Fily Traore who was sold to Libyan side Asswehly SC.
Club President Moïse Katumbi has pledged invest heavily on new reinforcements in order to strengthen the squad to compete for honours this season.
