TRANSFER: Bakambu Set To Join Dubai Club

Democratic Republic of Congo international striker Cedric Bakambu is set to join a new club this summer after a successful season Greece.

The 32-year old marksman stared for Greek champions Olympiakos in the just concluded season as he finished as top scorer in the top-flight league with 18 goals.

Bakambu who only joined Olympiakos on a until the end of the season from Olympique Marseille, has since attracted strong interest from the United Arab Emirates.

Al Nasr Club, based in Dubai, are closing in on the signing of the former Villarreal superstar with a agreement between the two parties already reached.

Bakambu would sign a two-year permanent deal with the UAE Pro League club.

Al Nasr is also home to another Congolese player in winger Isaac Tshibangu who also joined the club this year in April as a free agent.
