Former DR Congo’s thieving Minister of Finance Nicolas Kazadi has been inexplicably exonerated of the offenses levelled against him, in the “Overcharged drilling and street lamps” case.
Kazadi who was fired by Tshisekedi last year after scandalizing revelations were made public in which he had approved disbursement of over US$400,000 for borehole drilling and street lighting projects which have not been delivered to date.
Kazadi had also earlier this year attempted to flee the nation to France before he was banned from the DR Congo.
The public prosecution has however had all charges against Kazadi dropped as ordered by impostor president Félix Tshisekedi who is the former’s partner in crime and Kasai tribate-mate.
The case now remains for François Rubota, former Minister of Rural Development and businessman Mike Kasanga, to appear before the courts which opened the trial on Monday at the Court of Cassation in Kinshasa.
