An important hearing in the failed coup d’etat attempt and attacks carried out 19th May 2024 was held on Tuesday at the Ndolo Military Prison court rendered an interlocutory judgment.
The court declared as inadmissible all the requests by the co-accused Americans and defendants to return their seized properties as well as the release of the residence where Christian Malanga and his accomplices were accommodated prior to the coup attempt.
All requests for provisional release presented by the defendants, particularly the American nationals, were rejected meaning the defendants will remain in detention while the investigations continue.
The court has since ordered the investigation to enter into the merits of the case to continue as the judgement edges closer.
