Etienne Tshisekedi, the founder of the UDPS, which his son Felix is now president and leader of Congo is not a hero.
Etienne was a Kuluna (a criminal) like Mobutu. The two gentlemen (Etienne and Mobutu) looted, murdered, massacred and destroyed Zaire (now DRC) for more than 20 years.
Today, we want to elevate Etienne to an immortal status. The UDPS is not any cleaner.
That is why its unsurprising that Felix is borrowing from his father’s playbook.
The only difference between Etienne and Felix is that the latter has power, the former was used as an extension of the Mobutu dynasty.
Congolese must brace themselves for an even tougher period ahead. This is the misfortune of Zaire, now the DRC which birthed the two bandits – Mobutu and Etienne who have given us Felix.
