Opposition ECIDé leader Martin Fayulu has turned on the page and moved on from the controversies of the sham of an election which elected impostor president Félix Tshisekedi into office in 2018.
Fayulu who is widely considered to have legitimately won the 2018 polls ahead of Tshisekedi, has opted to maintain his leadership in the opposition for the interest of the nation, his party has said.
“Martin Fayulu has already forgiven Joseph Kabila and Félix Tshisekedi for their 2018 misdeeds, he is not afraid to meet anyone (Katumbi, Kabila, Tshisekedi). Today Martin Fayulu maintains his leadership for the interest of the Republic (Nation). We need to talk to each other as politicians around our fathers of the Catholic Church,” Fayulu’s party ECIDé General Secretary Clement Muza Kayembe said.
The statement comes in light of the recent meeting between Fayulu and Kabila in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa where the two leaders held discussions.
