Sensing defeat in the December 20, 2023 elections, President Felix Tshisekedi and his minister for defense Jean-Pierre Bemba have sunk so low as to fabricate a travel history suggesting that leading opposition leader Moïse Katumbi is Zambian.
Tshisekedi, a Belgian citizen, and Bemba, a holder of a Portuguese and Ugandan passport, have lifted an old article from Zambia in which an opposition leader made remarks about Katumbi and an alleged Zambian passport.
The issues being raised by Bemba and Katumbi were subject of the Congolese Constitutional Court adjudication and were inadmissible.
Instead of focusing on the issues and what they are offering to do for the Congolese people that they have not done in the last five years, they want to manipulate the population with falsehoods.
Unfortunately for Tshisekedi, Bemba and their team, Congolese have made up their mind to pick one of their own – in this case Katumbi.
