RWANDA IN CONGOLESE TERRITORY: Images of Rwandan Forces in North Kivu Go Viral

Congolese social media platforms are awash in images viral images of several elements of the Rwandan army carrying out operations on DR Congo soil.

Rwandan has strengthened its support for the M23 rebels who continue to terrorize the eastern region of the now helpless DR Congo.

At a UN Security Council meeting, images of soldiers carrying out operations in North Kivu were shown as evidence of Rwanda’s presence on Congolese territory.

Rwanda continue to reinforce the rampant M23 fighters who have advanced into more strategic territories in the east of DR Congo.

The UN as well as the international community continue to call on Rwanda and Uganda to withdraw their forces in order for peace to return to that part of the DR Congo.
