When you have a funeral at home, you don’t start visiting people in the neighborhood. In fact, it’s your neighbors, friends and family that visit the funeral home.
The Democratic Republic of Congo is mourning over 400 people due the the devastating floods that recently hit North and South Kivu.
That number could even go extremely high now that information has emerged there is still over 5,500 people unaccounted.
Unfortunately, the useless, reckless and incompetent President we have called Felix Tshisekedi doesn’t care about the lives of those Congolese in eastern Congo. He doesn’t even respect the dead.
Instead of visiting the site of the disaster like many responsible Presidents do around the world, our leader has seen this as an opportunity to visit countries around the world.
What a shame. What a heartless dim-witted character we have for a president. How can he even be at peace like this?
He was in Burundi just 72 hours ago, today he is in Gaborone. We apologize to state that this is evil of President Tshisekedi.
He is behaving like the devil himself assigned to run a country by devouring his people’s blood. How else can we describe him?
President Tshisekedi doesn’t love you the people of Congo. All he cares about is himself, his family and to some extent his tribe. Everything else about Congo is useless in his mind and eyes.
Children of Congo, you are orphans. You don’t have a leader. In the midst of tragedy like the one that has hit the eastern parts of the country, leaders are born; they rise to the occasion.
Your leader has instead abandoned you. He is looking the other side while we bury our loved ones in sacks and mass graves.
President Tshisekedi doesn’t care about the mealie-meal crisis in Grand Katanga. For as long as his belly is full with the subsidized food you pay for him, nothing concerns him.
It’s truly painful and upsetting to be a Congolese at this moment. We have an incompetent, reckless, careless and heartless man we call moral authority.
President Tshisekedi is preoccupied with funfare and he was happy to be the guest of Dr. Eric Mokgwesi, President of Botswana, to strengthen bilateral relations between their countries.
Could this not have waited even for another week or two? Why is Tshisekedi in a hurry? Apparently,
the visit is also aimed at the organization of an economic
forum and the opening of an embassy of the DRC in Gaborone.
Is this a priority on President Tshisekedi’s bucket-list?
We are pained to witness what we are witnessing about Tshisekedi. We empathize with our fellow colleagues who have died in the tragedy. We mourn with the families that are mourning in east Congo.
May God welcome those who are gone in these circumstances, protect us from evil and ensure we cover each other.
