Democratic Republic of Congo’s imposter president Félix Tshisekedi’s wings of stubbornness and adamancy to engage with the AFC/M23 rebels have finally been clipped.
Tshisekedi has been compelled to give into the AFC/M23 rebels’ demands having been left desperate after being abandoned by everyone one of his allies in the fight against the rampant rebels.
One of the main conditions set by the AFC/M23 rebels before entering into direct dialogue talks with the Congolese government was for Tshisekedi to issue a public statement to confirm his participation and support the very idea of dialoguing with the rebels.
On Thursday, the official X account of the Congolese Presidency (Presidence_RDC) and the national broadcaster the (@rtncofficielle1) aired the statement on the dialogue talks with Corneille Nangaa’s rebel movement.
Tshisekedi had previously gone public to swear and promised the people of the DR Congo that he and his government would not engage or negotiate with the AFC/M23 rebels whom he promised to defeat.
Once again Tshisekedi has gone back on his promise and showed his incompetence and incapability to deliver anything tangible for the Congolese population.
