POOR WORKING CONDITIONS: Sebastien Desabre Goes Six Months Without Pay, Threatens to Quit

DR Congo national team coach Sebastien Desabre has not received monthly salary for the since March and has threatened to leave his role if government fails to settle his arrears.

Desabre who has performed beyond his expectations as Leopards boss, has had his remunerations delayed for the past six with government not caring to fulfilling their obligations.

Sources have now reported that the Ministry of Sports have submitted a request to the national treasury for the disbursement of a total sum of US$426,000 dollars to settle the Frenchman and will be divided as follows: US$26,000 for rent (6 months), US$60,000 for AFCON qualification bonus and US$330,000 dollars for salary (6 months).

Desabre has threatened to leave his post as Leopards should government fail to settle his arrears with less than a month to the start of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
