POLITICAL PERSECUTION: Tshisekedi’s Military Launch Operation To Kidnap Opposition Critics

Democratic Republic of Congo military has launched investigations into social media videoa criticizing the dictatorial operations of President Felix Tshisekedi’s government.

The investigation are targeting what the military say is a group of individuals publishing videos denigrating military justice.

DRC military, especially at DEMIAP, has recently engaged in brutal kidnapping of political opponents of Tshisekedi.

The operations have attracted widespread criticism exposing the governance style deployed by Tshisekedi as dictatorial.

This has upset the ruling party.

In a press release relased on Thursday, the Office of the Auditor General at the Military High Court has accused some opposition figures of harboring ill-intentions by indulging in the publication of content aimed at harming military personnel and the justice system.

However, observers say the statement is a political threat by the military to intimidate citizens opposed to the brutal style of handling civilian politics.
