Democratic Republic of Congo opposition leader Moise Katumbi has gifted the Catholic Church a modern parish in his village of Kashobwe on the southern part of Katanga, an area that borders Zambia.
The Archbishop of Kinshasa, a senior member of the Catholic Church Fridolin Ambongo, will unveil the parish at a ceremony today.
It is the first time a Congolese has erected a structure of worship and handed it over to the church.
