NO FLYING ZONE: M23 rebels Block the Airspace in Lubero

The M23 rebels are increasing their influence in North Kivu Province following their latest advancement after defeating the FARDC soldiers.

The airspace of the entire Lubero continues to be hazed by the M23 rebels after they took control of the territory on Monday.

Yesterday, a humanitarian delegation from OCHA failed to land at Lubero Centre due the airspace haze by the M23.

This move by the rebels is posing as a serious threat to the lives of innocent civilians and compounds where the humanitarian situation is already fragile.
