The rebel movement Alliance Fleuve du Congo (AFC) and M23 rebel leader Corneille Nangaa says he intended to establish federalism in DR Congo in the coming days.
At a press conference held in Rutshuru territory today, Nangaa says federalism is the solution to the DR Congo’s development.
Nangaa has declared he and the AFC/M23 forces will soon gain control of Goma, the capital North Kivu before Kinshasa and ultimately set up DR Congo as a federal state.
“I will take Goma in a few days, then all of North Kivu, the Great Eastern. and Kinshasa. Then install federalism,” the confident Nangaa declared today.
Nangaa and the AFC/M23 rebellion have in the past few days managed to gain control 90% of North Kivu and also extended into South Kivu Province.
