A few days after snubbing a United Kingdom envoy in Kinshasa, President Felix Tshisekedi is showing his priorities and allies.
And that’s no further than Russia Vladmir Putin.
Putin and Russia have advised President Tshisekedi that “only a political solution will ensure cessation of hostilities, and sustainable stabilization.”
A Russian representative to the United Nations has called on Kinshasa to “redouble efforts to establish a professional army.”
Recently, the Congolese army has welcomed Russia connected militia to help it strengthen its army.
